Payroll Administrator

We are seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our team in Pickering, Ontario. In this role, you will primarily focus on payroll functions, with some involvement in HR tasks. You will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll processes and HR administration.

Responsibilities :

• Administer payroll for multiple entities on a bi-weekly basis
• Oversee the administration of benefits
• Track employee vacation and leaves of absence
• Prepare offer letters and collaborate with others for review
• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date employee files
• Collaborate with the Accounting department to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Utilize accounting software systems such as Ceridian for efficient payroll processing
• Handle monthly commission calculations and entries
• Participate in auditing processes as required
• Support other accounting functions as needed
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.
• Experience with Ceridian software is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of 401k - RRSP Administration is essential.
• Familiarity with About Time software is a plus.
• Ability to perform Accounting Functions efficiently and accurately.
• Auditing skills are highly valued.
• Experience with Benefit Functions is necessary.
