Position Overview

Our client’s eMobility division is seeking an Application Engineer to support advanced technical applications for wireless mobile machine control products, including the OMNEX Trusted Wireless line. This role involves developing embedded machine control applications, supporting sales and customers, and contributing to product enhancements and engineered-to-order (ETO) solutions.

12 Month Contract

Pay-$50 / hr

Key Responsibilities

Define customer requirements and implement custom applications using client’s product portfolio.

Provide technical support during pre-sales, design, and application development phases.

Author technical documentation and application manuals.

Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, R&D, Manufacturing) and external customers.

Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues on-site when necessary.

Support business growth through new development programs and product enhancements.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Engineering Technology.

Minimum 1+ years of engineering experience.

Minimum 1+ years of experience interfacing with customers or sales / marketing teams.

Legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

Embedded systems experience and knowledge of electronic control equipment.

Proficiency in C and PLC programming .

Ability to read electronic schematics and wiring diagrams.

Graphic design experience (CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator, etc.).

Familiarity with engineering tools for design, debugging, and verification.

Hands-on experience with lab electrical equipment.
