Our client is a global industrial materials organization is seeking a Controls and Instrumentation Engineer to support the development and deployment of advanced process control and automation solutions across multiple operations worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain PLC, DCS, HMI / SCADA, and APC systems
- Support instrumentation calibration, control loop tuning, and process optimization
- Develop and maintain industrial data historian systems and data frameworks
- Identify and implement automation, controls, and data analytics improvements
- Support global standards for control systems, instrumentation, and OT networks
- Provide technical support to operating facilities, including occasional on-call support
Qualifications
Engineering degree with training in industrial controls and instrumentation6+ years of experience in controls, automation, or process engineering within heavy industryStrong experience with PLCs, APC / MPC, DCS, HMI / SCADA, and industrial data historiansWillingness to travel frequently across North America, with occasional international travelStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teamsCandidate Profile
