NDT Technician

NDT Technician – Level 2

Full-Time | Ingersoll, ON

We are hiring a Level 2 NDT Technician with a Valid CGSB/ISO MT2 & UT1 certification. The successful candidate will perform Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) in a manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on inspection role focused on accuracy, compliance, and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform UT and MT inspections to CGSB/ISO or NAS410 standards

• Set up, calibrate, and operate NDT equipment

• Interpret results and determine accept/reject criteria

• Complete inspection reports and maintain documentation

• Perform system performance checks

• Mentor Level 1 technicians and trainees

• Follow all safety and quality procedures

Requirements

Education / Certification

• 2-year Engineering Technology diploma
  OR

• Valid CGSB/ISO MT2 & UT1 certification

• MT2 & UT2 under NAS410

• Documented experience aligned with certification level

• Must meet Written Practice requirements

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong understanding of UT and MT methods

• Ability to read and interpret technical standards

• High attention to detail

• Strong documentation accuracy

• Able to work independently and within a team

• Comfortable working around noise, chemicals, and heavy equipment
