00 / hourDATES : July 2nd July 26th, 2024 (8 : 15 a.m. 3 : 00 p.m.) JOB SUMMARY : Work with classroom teachers, special education resource teachers and summer school staff in a supportive role Assist with program delivery both in class and 1 : 1 with students Be flexible to provide a variety of program accommodations to a variety of learners Be an advocate for students and work with them to develop advocacy skills of their own Maintain a positive rapport with students, colleagues and administration Understand the various needs of students with learning disabilities and support them through their summer school credits Assist learners with technology they may need to utilize in completing summer school course work REQUIREMENTS : Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent Pursuing a career in education is an asset Excellent organization and time management skills Experience using Google Classroom and / or Brightspace considered an asset HOW TO APPLY : Expressions of interest, including a covering letter, resume, OCT certification, employee # (if employed by Upper Grand DSB) and three references must be submitted by 4 : 00 p.
