Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including : experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data collection, processing, analysis, and visualization, with a proven ability to deliver complex marketing analysis autonomously. This role is crucial for driving customer engagement, optimizing campaign performance, and ensuring data-driven decision-making within our marketing efforts.
What you'll do here :
Campaign Analysis and Optimization :
Analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, including customer segmentation, targeting, and personalization strategies.
Develop and implement metrics to track campaign effectiveness and ROI.
Provide insights and recommendations to optimize campaign performance and enhance customer engagement.
Data Collection and Processing :
Collect, clean, and manage data from various marketing channels and customer databases.
Ensure data quality and integrity for accurate analysis and reporting.
Customer Insights and Segmentation :
Conduct in-depth analysis of customer behavior, preferences, and trends.
Develop customer segmentation models to identify key customer groups and tailor marketing strategies accordingly.
Reporting and Visualization :
Create and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize campaign performance and customer insights.
Present findings and recommendations to marketing teams and senior leadership in a clear and actionable manner.
Collaboration and Strategy :
Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to align on campaign objectives and strategies.
Partner with data scientists and other analysts to develop predictive models and advanced analytics solutions for customer campaigns.
Project Management :
Lead and manage data-driven projects related to customer campaigns, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven marketing initiatives.
What you bring to the table :
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
5+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a marketing or customer campaign context.
Proven track record of driving business outcomes through data-driven insights.
Proficiency in Snowflake and Python / R for data analysis and modeling, familiarity with SQL and Oracle, and experience working with large datasets. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present complex data insights clearly and effectively.
Understanding of statistical concepts, control groups, and experimental design, and of predictive modeling techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, and time series analysis etc.
Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data concisely.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic environments.
Strong teamwork and ethical judgment.
Leadership, strategic thinking, curiosity, and resilience.
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
No Canadian work experience required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.
