We are seeking an experienced IT Specialist with a strong background in end-to-end mortgage operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical leadership skills and project management skills, a proven track record in managing vendors, and extensive experience with SAAS / PAAS solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of mortgage industry processes and the ability to leverage technology to optimize operations.

Responsibilities

  • Providing technical leadership and support for End-to-End Mortgage Operations :

Oversee the implementation and maintenance of IT systems supporting mortgage operations.

  • Ensure seamless integration of various systems to streamline mortgage processes from origination to servicing.
  • Monitor and improve system performance, reliability, and security to support mortgage operations.
  • Technical Expertise :
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues related to mortgage operations.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Experienced with APIs and Microservices design.
  • Support during Projects
  • Provide technical Leadership during projects related to mortgage operations, ensuring timely delivery.

  • Assist and review project plans and continuously manage technology risks.
  • Vendor Management :

    Manage relationships with IT vendors, ensuring services meet contractual obligations and performance standards.

  • Evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate contracts, and oversee vendor performance.
  • Facilitate communication between vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • SAAS / PAAS Solutions :
  • Provide IT leadership to Implement and manage SAAS / PAAS solutions to enhance mortgage operations.

    Evaluate new technologies and solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

    Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  • Compliance and Risk Management :
  • Ensure IT systems comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT systems and vendor relationships.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT, with a focus on mortgage operations.

  • Proven experience in project management, including leading large-scale IT projects.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage industry processes and regulations.
  • Extensive experience with SAAS / PAAS solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is a plus.
