Maintenance Engineer

Our Suncor Sarnia Refinery Maintenance and Reliability Engineering team have an exciting opportunity if you are an experienced Mechanical Engineer! You will support and specialize in the day-to‑day tasks of returning the equipment to operational capability. Your focus will be the short term and responding to equipment failures by providing field troubleshooting support and timely work scopes. You would also support the safe and reliable operation of equipment by completing integrity assessments and recommendations to the Production Unit (PU).

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of seven years of engineering experience with fixed equipment such as pressure vessels, boilers, piping systems and familiarization with rotating assets.
• Relevant field experience supporting maintenance and operations in an industrial environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Registered or immediately eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer with the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
