.NET Developer

Position Description

We are seeking an Intermediate .NET Developer to build and enhance modern cloud-based video workflow applications

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using C# / .NET Framework / .NET Core
• Build and deploy applications in AWS environments, including :

o Lambda

o RDS

o Fargate

• Work with containerized applications and support deployments
• Design and write efficient queries in PostgreSQL
• Contribute to GitLab CI / CD pipelines and automated deployments
• Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for clean, maintainable code
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues
• Collaborate with senior developers on feature design and implementation

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in C# / .NET development
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, RDS, Fargate)
• Experience working with containers (Docker or similar)
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience building and maintaining GitLab CI / CD pipelines
• Understanding of REST APIs and backend service architecture
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Exposure to event-driven or serverless architectures

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $65,000–$115,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
