About the Position

As an Administrative Technician at Forvis Mazars, you will be an integral part of our dynamic payroll outsourcing team, contributing to our mission of delivering top-tier services.

In this role, you will support our team’s payroll specialists and play a key role in client communications. You will provide assistance with requests such as enrolling employees in payroll platforms and producing and distributing payroll reports. Additionally, you will be responsible for following up on these requests with the payroll specialists and assisting in all related tasks.

Your Responsibilities

  • Respond to client questions and requests regarding payroll with professionalism and courtesy, follow up to ensure timely resolution, and manage the Payroll Support email inbox;
  • Oversee the administrative aspects related to client billing;
  • Assist clients with various registration requests relating to their province of employment;
  • Produce and distribute payroll reports and other payroll-related documents as needed;
  • Collaborate with clients to resolve payroll issues and offer effective solutions;
  • Assist in processing payroll transactions as needed by the payroll specialists;
  • Develop the role within the department, particularly by establishing workflows and collaboration methods with different stakeholders involved in payroll cases.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Basic knowledge of and interest in payroll processes;
  • Relevant experience in a similar payroll-related role, preferred;
  • Excellent proficiency in the Office Suite, especially Excel;
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively;
  • Initiative, excellent organizational skills, and speed in execution;
  • Practical knowledge of payroll systems, with experience on Desjardins and Nethris as an asset;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, in both French and English, to effectively interact with all our clients in Quebec and beyond;
  • Client-oriented, with the ability to build strong professional relationships with clients;
  • Strong sense of confidentiality and ethics when handling sensitive information.
