Heavy Duty Mechanic / Generator Service Technician

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Moving material with the use of a forklift or overhead crane;
• Testing, assembling, preparing and installing mechanical components which includes stationary and / or mobile equipment;
• Repairing and troubleshooting mechanical components and equipment;
• Cleaning of work area and machines;
• Reading blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures;
• Completing reports and mechanical documentation in a timely manner;
• May include electrical maintenance duties;
• Must adhere to company policies, procedures and directions regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments;
• Have flexibility to work in a 7 / 24 environment;
• Frequent travel to customer locations to perform work in the field is required;
• Other duties as assigned.
