Floor Hand

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Floor Hand / General Labourer to join our team. This position involves working with hand and power tools, operating machinery, and assisting with general labour duties to support daily operations. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and eager to learn and grow within the company.

Responsibilities

Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

Set up, operate, and monitor machinery as required.

Assist with production, assembly, or maintenance tasks as directed.

Perform general labour duties such as material handling, cleaning, and organizing work areas.

Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Support team members to maintain a clean, efficient, and safe work environment.

Report equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a floor hand, general labourer, or machine operator preferred.

Ability to safely use hand and power tools.

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Physically capable of lifting up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs] and standing for extended periods.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Willingness to learn and take direction in a fast-paced setting.
