• team. In this position, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and upkeep of our big data framework. You will get the opportunity to work closely with a variety of internal teams to implement scalable and efficient data processing solutions, while ensuring the availability and reliability of our data pipelines. • What You’ll Do
• Design and develop scalable data processing solutions using big data technologies.
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features and optimize performance.
• Monitor and troubleshoot distributed systems to maintain high availability.
• Participate in code reviews and drive continuous improvement in development practices.

• This position will be located in St. John's and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or Scala.
• Experience building pipelines for large-scale structured and unstructured data.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills in collaborative environments
• Experience with AWS cloud and big data tools like EMR or Apache Spark.
• Knowledge of distributed computing and database technologies (relational and non-relational).
