Description

• Design and develop assembly processes and all documentation such as flow charts, PFMEA, Manufacturing Process Chart, process capability and reliability studies and Operation Instruction Drawings.
• Develop equipment and tooling specifications for new lines, programs and projects based on the PE process examination analysis.
• Implement these processes by writing Capital Expenditure Requests and purchasing equipment (machines, jigs, fixtures, material handling equipment, etc.) and setting them up.
• Analyze existing processes for improvements, develop ideas for improvements and perform cost analysis to determine if ideas are justifiable.
• Investigate and help resolve quality / customers / productivity concerns.
• Troubleshoot problems on the assembly floor.
• Train Team Leaders and Maintenance on new processes and equipment.
• Active involvement in PDT and APQP activities (especially in the application of mistake proofing methods).
• Support DFMEA activity with Product Engineering.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $48.00 / hr.
