Wellness Services Program Manager

The Wellness Services Program Manager contributes to the success of the Thunder Bay Indigenous Friendship Centre by effectively planning, organizing, leading, and managing Wellness Program services and activities, in accordance with all relevant policies and procedures.
The Wellness Services Program Manager must possess the ability to supervise and motivate a team of fifteen to twenty (15 to 20) direct reports to achieve and exceed their goals, and be able to delegate, set expectations, and monitor progress of all direct reports.
The Wellness Services Program Manager will further assist in recruitment and selection of program staff needs, oversee daily administration needs including scheduling and expenditure oversight, and ensure employees have clear goals and are aware of expectations.
This role will also oversee the orientation / onboarding of new hires and volunteers, as well as assist in the performance reviews and professional development of staff.
This is a contract position with possible extension pending funding.
