As part of the accounting team, this position is responsible for preparing financial statements for the Canadian studios. The ideal candidate will be able to multi-task, including analyzing balance sheet and income statement items, participating in special projects, prioritizing, working effectively under tight deadlines, and delivering a high level of service in a fast-paced, fast-paced work environment. The position is based at the Ubisoft Montreal studio and reports directly to the Chief Accountant.

• What you'll do :
• Record journal entries, expense reclassifications and accruals as required.
• Perform analyses and account reconciliations on balance sheets and income statements.
• Participate in the month-end closing process.
• Produce monthly, half-yearly and annual financial statements and ad hoc financial reports.
• Participate in head office monthly reporting (Hyperion Financial Management).
• Interco billing and reconciliation between local and parent company tools.
• Participate in the preparation of half-yearly and annual audit documents.
• Participate in all other tasks / projects assigned by management.
• Handle special projects as required.
• Qualifications
• What you'll bring to the team :
• Degree / certificate(s) in accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position.
• Solid knowledge of accounting concepts.
• Practical experience of large-scale financial systems (Peoplesoft, Oracle, SAP, etc.).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in a multi-company environment.
• Knowledge of Hyperion (HFM) - an asset.
• Team spirit and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to meet deadlines on time.
• Experience of working with international parties and remote teams.
• Fluent in French.
