What do our Food Safety & Compliance Specialists do?

• Conduct assessments that measure conformity to regulatory, industry, and proprietary brand standards for clients.
• Observe food preparation and cooking standards to ensure food safety and sanitation practices.
• Partner with clients to address root causes of assessment discrepancies and develop corrective action plans.
• Teach and coach clients to create safer and healthier workplaces for themselves and their customers.
• Travel up to 50% of the time, or 10 days per month, including evening and weekend work.

Requirements

• Meet the requirements to obtain a CP‑FS certification.
• Highly flexible schedule, willing to work Sunday to Saturday.
• Desire to travel by car and/or plane up to 50% of the time.
• Ability to lift 10 lbs, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach.
• Excellent listening, communication, organization, and time‑management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to influence others with tact and skill, and provide constructive feedback.
• Thrives in an autonomous environment.
• Safe driving record and commitment to safety.
• Strong technical knowledge of food safety preferred; ServSafe and/or CP‑FS certification a plus.
• Must pass a pre‑employment background screen and have a valid driver’s license.

Budgeted Salary

$40,000–$46,000 annually.
