Lab Technician

We currently have an opportunity for a Lab Technician - Term to join our team at our newly constructed, state of the art, Richardson Innovation Centre , located in downtown Winnipeg, MB.

Under the Supervision of our Lab and Analytics Team Lead the successful candidate will join a team of Quality Assurance and Food Safety professionals, serving our grain handling and export and food processing businesses.

Responsibilities :

• Testing grains, ingredients, and finished products to ensure accurate composition, quality, and food safety
• Preparing and testing samples (swabs, grain, ingredients, and food products) for microbiological and allergen hazards
• Reporting analytical test results and preparing reports for Laboratory Management
• The testing and calibration of laboratory equipment
• Supporting the Lab Housekeeping Program
