Our flagship conference in Toronto is doubling in size this year and we are expanding to the Asian-Pacific region, with a conference in Singapore. Partnerships are at the heart of what we do, and we’re seeking a talented Partnerships Manager to join our team and lead this critical function.
Role Overview :
As the Partnerships Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue by securing and managing event partnerships. This role is ideal for a proactive and results-oriented individual with experience in event partnerships or sales, preferably in the e-commerce or events industry. Reporting directly to the leadership team, you’ll manage partner relations, close deals, and ensure revenue targets are met.
Key Responsibilities :
- Partnership Sales : Actively identify, pitch, and close partnerships for our events, driving revenue and achieving sales targets.
- Relationship Management : Cultivate strong relationships with potential and existing partners, understanding their goals and demonstrating how our events and community can provide value.
- Call Preparation & Communication : Conduct thorough research before partner calls, stay organized, and effectively communicate our offerings.
- Partner CRM Management : Maintain and update the partner CRM system, ensuring accurate tracking of leads, opportunities, and follow-ups.
- Follow-Up & Closing : Take a hands-on approach to follow up after calls, addressing questions and concerns to close deals efficiently.
- Collaborative Strategy : Work closely with the internal team to align on partnership strategies and ensure partner satisfaction.
Qualifications :
2-3 years of experience in event partnerships or sales, ideally within the eCommerce or events industry.Proven ability to close deals and meet or exceed revenue targets.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong follow-through skills.Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.Familiarity with CRM tools and managing sales pipelines.Compensation & Benefits :
