Primary Location : Canada (CA) - Strathmore , Alberta

Function : Marketing and Sales (CA)

Salary :   $3,609.00- $4,812.00 monthly

Onsite / Remote :   Onsite Position

Candidates applying for this position must be legally eligible to work in Canada.  This is an Intern position for four months beginning in late April through August 2026. Canadiates must be returning to school in Fall 2026.

Your Responsibilities

As an Agronomy Intern located in Strathmore, Alberta you will work internally with John Deere's field testing program to explore agronomic hypotheses and concepts that support the development of new equipment innovations. At a high level you will be responsible for in-field data collection and observations, working with internal staff as well as 3rd party collaborators, raw data processing, and performing tasks to ensure trial success.

What Skills You Need

  • Advanced computer skills and familiarity with Office 365 programs.
  • Basic mechanical and electronic hardware knowledge.
  • Good communication skills and comfortable working in a team environment.
  • Organized and able to create own plan and schedule.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience operating farm machinery.
  • Experience with precision agriculture and navigating equipment displays.
  • Agronomy knowledge relevant to Western Canadian agricultural practices.
  • Drone pilot experience.
  • Education

    Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following :

  • Agriculture (Agribusiness, Agronomy, Environmental etc.)
  • Engineering
