Meridia Recruitment Solutions is pleased to partner with Living Stone in the search for a highly motivated and experienced Controller to oversee the company's financial operations and ensure financial stability. As a key member of their management team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing financial strategies to help the business achieve its goals.

Responsibilities will include :

Develop and maintain financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts to help achieve company goals.
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports (i.e., manage month-end and year-end close processes), including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other reports as required by management, shareholders, or regulatory authorities.
Manage the company's accounting systems, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
Identify and manage financial risks that could impact the company's financial stability.
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards, including tax laws, accounting standards, and financial reporting requirements.
Manage a team of financial professionals, including specialists in accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Manage the company’s payroll and HR activities, including new hires.
Establish and develop relations with our team and external partners including banks, audit firms (for year-end audit), and insurance brokers (managing insurance policies).
Assure legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess :

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

Professional accounting designation (CPA) is preferred.

7+ years of experience in financial management and accounting.

Strong financial analysis and reporting skills, including being an advanced user of Excel.

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to respond to emails in a timely and professional manner.

Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Experience managing a team of financial professionals.
