Our Calgary Oil and Gas client is looking for a Senior Azure Infrastructure Architect with Terraform Cloud and GitHub experience to implement scalable Azure landing zones for a large North American cloud migration program .
North American client with a corporate office in downtown Calgary. Hybrid working environment. Ideally looking for a local candidate to Calgary but open to candidates across Canada willing to work MST hours.
Must Haves :
- 10+ years experience as an Azure Infrastructure Architect with Terraform Cloud experience
- Azure Landing Zone implementation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) workflows experience
- GitHub experience
- Azure RBAC & Policies experience
- Security scanning tools (Terraform Sentinel, Checkov, Aqua) experience
- Azure-native services (VNETs, NSGs, Firewalls) experience
- CheckPoint Firewalls & Policies experience
- Azure DevOps experience
Nice to Have :
- AWS-native services (Terraform code for AWS) experience
- ServiceNow workflow integration experience
- Hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud environment experience
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable Azure landing zones using Terraform Cloud.
- Manage Azure infrastructure components, including resource groups, RBAC, and Azure Policies.
- Embed security and compliance into Infrastructure as Code (IaC) workflows.
- Automate workflows and manage multi-cloud environments using GitHub and Terraform.
- Deploy and manage CheckPoint Firewalls and firewall policies via IaC.
- Conduct security scans on IaC using tools like Terraform Sentinel, Checkov, and Aqua.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with cloud strategies.
