• Completion of the twelfth (12th) school grade including business subjects with emphasis on general office practices or completion of an appropriate certificate program from an approved business school / college and a minimum of three (3) years progressively responsible police operational experience including general office procedures and word processing.
• Operation of audio collection system would be considered an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional and responsible manner.
• Demonstrated ability in reacting appropriately and calmly in emergent and highly stressful situations.
• Familiarity of Part VI of the Criminal Code of Canada would be considered an asset.

Hours of Work :

40 hours per week. Rotating ten (10) hour shifts Monday - Sunday (ie : 07 : 00-17 : 00 hours and 17 : 00-03 : 00 hours).

24 hour coverage may be necessary.

Salary Range :

21B Salary Grade : 016 $31.96 - $39.97 (Hourly) $2557.10 - $3198.20 (Bi-Weekly) $66740.83 - $83474.06 (Annually).

The rates quoted are in accordance with a Collective Agreement between the Union and the City of Edmonton.

General :

Re-Clearances at scheduled intervals or in any other circumstances exigent or otherwise as required by Human Resources Division.
