As the Marketing Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role on a high performing, dynamic team! You are obsessed with the customer and finding ways to drive engagement and increase brand loyalty through data and analytical thinking. You will help develop and execute data-driven strategies to enhance our customer loyalty and retention programs. You will support and collaborate with cross functional teams across marketing, merchandising, IT, and finance, to develop and implement data-driven solutions that enhance customer loyalty and drive business growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Help develop and execute the strategy for customer loyalty analytics, aligning with organizational customer retention goals and business objectives.
- Assist department lead in the development of benchmarks and goals for loyalty and customer growth based on historical data, industry trends and customer analysis.
- Executes tasks assigned by director to develop test plans to optimize campaigns across email, direct mail, SMS, and digital media, including audience targeting, product recommendation, and performance analysis.
- Analyze the customer deciles, behaviors, and basket analysis to recommend and create innovative personalization strategies.
- Conduct data analysis to uncover insights into customer behavior, loyalty program effectiveness and market trends and create actional recommendations based on findings.
- Conduct analysis on customer and campaign data using analytical and statistical tools such as SQL / Oracle to uncover insights and program recommendations.
- Establish reporting and monitor performance to measure the impact of loyalty programs and customer engagement initiatives, including weekly / monthly dashboard reports.
- Takes directions to analyze and present customer and campaign performance trends as requested.
- Make hands on changes and adjustments as requested within loyalty platform, including but not limited to adjustments to program benefits, points regulation, promotional events, etc.
Qualifications
3+ years’ experience in Marketing Analytics or Loyalty Marketing.Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Quantitative Economics, Mathematics, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Operations Research. MS / MBA preferred.Promotional analysis experience, specifically with Business Intelligence (BI) cubes, SQL, Tableau or similar analysis toolsExposure to Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Commerce Cloud and SnowflakeComfortable presenting highly analytical findings and translating them into business opportunities and recommendations.Retail, eCommerce or Pet Industry experience a plus.Operates independently and efficiently to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously and successfully, without sacrificing attention to detail.Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of solving complex business problems through data analysis and modeling.Ability to make sound recommendations that are backed by clear insights and clean data.Ability to be both a self-starter and team player.Pet Supermarket is an equal opportunity employer.
