Maxsys Staffing & Consulting urgently requires experienced Movers (Office Furniture) – Calgary SE and NEWe are seeking experienced office furniture movers who are reliable and energetic individuals. You will be responsible for efficiently and safely relocating various office furniture, equipment, and supplies, ensuring a seamless transition for our clients. The ideal candidates should possess physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.Key Responsibilities:Furniture and Equipment Handling:• Safely dismantle, move, and reassemble office furniture, including desks, chairs, and cabinets• Handle and transport office equipment, such as computers, printers, and other technology, ensuring they are securely packed and transportedLoading and Unloading:• Load and unload office items onto trucks with precision, maximizing space and preventing damage during transit• Utilize appropriate lifting and carrying techniques to avoid injury and ensure the safety of the teamLogistics and Planning:• Follow established schedules and routes for timely and efficient relocation• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure a smooth moving processCustomer Service:• Interact professionally with clients and address any concerns or special requests during the moving process• Provide excellent customer service, representing the company in a positive mannerQuality Assurance:• Conduct thorough checks before, during, and after the move to ensure all items are accounted for and in good condition• Report any damages or discrepancies to the supervisor immediatelyQualifications:• Previous experience in office furniture moving required • Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy items regularly• Excellent teamwork and communication skills• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities• Flexibility to work weekends or extended hours as neededRequirements:• Must wear steel toed safety footwear• Ability to follow safety guidelines and protocols• Customer-focused attitude and commitment to delivering quality serviceIf you are a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply for the Office Furniture Mover position.Due to safety requirements regarding the above, all candidates must have a good command of the English language (speak, read and write).If interested, and you meet the above requirements please email Nandini at your updated resume with your contact information and email address.
