Job Description
As a Financial Planning and Accounting Analyst at ISAAC, your mission is to provide high-quality analyses and recommendations for strategic decision-making. You optimize financial performance by accurately forecasting, identifying key trends, ensuring data integrity, and improving financial systems and processes. Additionally, your role includes preparing and presenting financial information and statements, as well as ensuring compliance with accounting standards and financial statements. You demonstrate genuine care and authenticity with your colleagues while embodying ISAAC’s values.
Responsibilities
- Analyze current and past trends of key performance indicators
- Refine projections and analyze variances between key analyses of services and operational entities
- Provide in-depth analysis of variances between projections and actual performance
- Contribute to the preparation of short- and long-term financial forecasts
- Identify and explain variances between forecasts and actual results
- Provide recommendations based on the results of financial analyses
- Ensure the quality and integrity of financial data and information
- Participate in the preparation of financial statements while complying with current accounting standards
- Successfully conduct external audits by providing necessary documents and information
- Collaborate in implementing recommendations from audits
- Contribute to the preparation of Canadian and US sales tax returns
- Collaborate with IT for the management of the integrated management software (ERP)
- Produce ad hoc reports and analyses
- Prepare and present quarterly reviews to the executive committee
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement effective financial strategies
- Conduct specific analyses for one-off projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor's in Accounting or FinancesOver 8 years of experience in a similar rolePrevious experience in an accounting firmBilingual in spoken and written language (Reason : no role duplication)Strong knowledge of Microsoft and Google suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to turn disparate data into actionable information and influence decision-making by senior leaders.Atouts
