Qualifications

  • Current Certificate of Competence from College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Current CPR Certificate and IV Initiation Skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Documented commitment to continuing education through inservice, staff meetings and self-motivated learning.
  • Experience in Medical / Surgical Nursing within the past 2 years.
  • Central Line Management experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, decision making, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Satisfactory Attendance for internal applicants.
  • Skilled in good customer relations.
  • Commitment to working in a patient focused care environment.
  • Commitment to Patient Care & Safety and Service Excellence.
  • Satisfactory vulnerable person’s sector criminal background check.
