What you’ll do :

The successful candidate will be dedicated to outstanding customer service, have excellent communication skills, have the ability to work independently and become a member of a highly motivated team. Core duties will include, but are not limited to :

Provide excellent customer service on the radio to team members and to our customers in the yard, assisting them with the location of items and providing information and product knowledge.
Deliver, load and unload merchandise, as well as assemble and deliver orders as required.
Fill orders and receive freight as required.
Assist in the proper care and maintenance of all department equipment and maintain cleanliness and order of merchandise in the yard.
Practice and maintain safe procedures for the handling and stocking of merchandise.

Who you are :

You are looking for a career in Retail Operations and :

You have excellent customer service skills, communication skills and the ability to problem solve.

You have the ability to operate heavy duty equipment while ensuring safety rules and regulations are followed.

You have experience and knowledge in the building materials industry.

Have the ability to work in a changing environment.

You have a valid class 5 driver’s license, a clean abstract will be required and you must be willing to obtain forklift certification.

You can fulfill physical job requirements – manual labour and occasional heavy lifting is required.

You are well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production with a minimum amount of supervision.

You are able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends.
