Nature of Position
We are seeking an Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA) to provide care for children aged 0 36 months. Under the instructions of the Site Leader or designate, the ECEA leads children in activities to stimulate and develop their intellectual, physical, and emotional growth.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have, the following three ECE courses :
- Child Development
- Child Guidance
- Child Health, Safety, and Nutrition
A combination of related training and experience may be considered.
Requirements
- Successful completion of a criminal record check with vulnerable sector search
- Standard First Aid and CPR
- Food Safe Certification would be an asset
- Must be 19 years of age or older
