Responsibilities

  • Provide overall support in the implementation, maintenance and execution of the CPA program strategy
  • Main point of contact and support to CPA students, mentors, human capital and program leaders to provide guidance, orientation / training and to share best practices
  • Ensure compliance with CPA practical experience requirements in PERT by reviewing reports and submissions related to initial registration, mentor assignment, semi-annual reporting, mentor meeting completion, final submissions
  • Ensure students are regularly updating CPA information in MNP’s student tracking profiles and review for completion
  • Ensure students grant consent for release of exam results and review related reporting during exam results period
  • Manage the CFE gift selection, coordination, and delivery
  • Liaison with applicable CPA bodies in Canada, when needed
  • Attend relevant workshops, seminars and conferences and apply learning to the workplace
  • Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary

Skills and Experience

  • Post secondary education / certification in related field and at least 2 years of experience with learning and development program coordination, preferably at a professional services firm, or related experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships both internal and external to the organization
  • Ability to perform as a self starter with a high degree of initiative
  • Excellent time management, organizational / prioritization skills and strong level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work at a fast pace to manage multiple demands and competing priorities
  • Excels independently and as part of a team
  • Strong knowledge of the CPA program and PERT is an asset
