Product Quality engineer

As part of our development and to strengthen our commitment to quality, we are recruiting a Product Quality Engineer (M/F) for our Quebec City site.

Your responsibilities :

Reporting to the Director of the Quality Department, you will be responsible for ensuring product compliance and performance throughout their life cycle—from development to production.

Your main responsibilities will be :

• Identifying items requiring quality improvements on products under development;
• Identifying components requiring incoming inspection and setting up control plans;
• Supervising suppliers involved in the development of new components;
• Contribute to risk analyses during the development phases of new products;
• Contribute to process and equipment validation, in support of Manufacturing Engineering;
• Improve the quality performance of assembly lines for the products under your responsibility;
• Evaluate, develop, and implement tools for diagnosing and monitoring the performance of devices on the market;
• Analyze and document reported non-quality cases and coordinate problem solving within multidisciplinary teams;
• Identify and propose corrections to production methods or device design and conception in order to eliminate quality issues encountered on the market;
• Monitor the measures implemented and their effectiveness.

Skills and qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or any other relevant discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer.
• Interest and aptitude for both abstract data analysis and the practical application of engineering principles.
• Asset: Green Belt/Black Belt certification, Certified Quality Engineer.
• Good level of technical English (spoken and written).
