Sr. Backend Java 8+ (Hibernate / Spring) Developer using JDBC to create server-side apps and REST / SOAP web services / APIs for an insurance client -
Duration : 6 months with possible extension
Location : Hybrid (Toronto / Montreal) 2x in office, no exceptions
Description : We require a resource with strong Java back-end experience to lead build efforts of several core application services.
Must Haves :
- 8+ years exp as a Java 8+ (Hibernate / Spring) Developer building server-side apps using JDBC
- Creating web services or APIs using REST and SOAP .
- 8+ yrs exp with relational databases ( Oracle 12+, PL / SQL , and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Elasticsearch)
- 5+ yrs Java 17 / 21, Spring Boot exp

- Lead several refactor efforts on legacy applications.
