Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ecommerce Operations Specialist to oversee and optimize the end-to-end operations of multiple ecommerce websites. This role focuses on ensuring smooth and efficient ecommerce processes, managing product content, improving user experiences, and driving performance across various platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with ecommerce tools and platforms, including Amazon A+ Content, Syndigo Enhanced Content, and Shopify, or a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

Ecommerce Operations Management :

  • Oversee and optimize day-to-day ecommerce operations for multiple websites, including product uploads and content updates.
  • Ensure pricing is accurate and regularly updated.
  • Deactivate out-of-stock items promptly and reactivate them when inventory is replenished.
  • Rearrange and organize product catalogs to enhance discoverability and align with business priorities.
  • Maintain accurate product information and ensure all product listings meet brand guidelines and industry standards.
  • Understand order workflows, troubleshoot issues, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges.
  • Monitor ecommerce metrics, such as sales, conversion rates, and cart abandonment, and implement strategies to drive performance.

Content Management and Creation :

  • Create and manage enhanced product pages using Amazon A+ Content, Syndigo Enhanced Content, or similar platforms.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to update product information, promotional banners, and other content across all websites.
  • Ensure website content is SEO-friendly and complies with accessibility standards.
  • UI and UX Enhancements :

  • Design and optimize website layouts to enhance the user experience.
  • Apply hands-on knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for minor customizations and page enhancements.
  • Collaborate with marketing and design teams to implement campaigns and improve website aesthetics.
  • Platform and Tool Management :

  • Work with Shopify and other ecommerce platforms to implement updates, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal performance.
  • Manage integrations with third-party tools and systems, ensuring seamless functionality.
  • Familiarity in integrating with Reviews Management, Email and SMS Marketing Platforms, and Affiliate Marketing Platforms, which may include implementing tracking pixels and creating product feeds.
  • Use analytics tools like Google Analytics to monitor website performance and provide insights for improvements.
  • Web Accessibility and Compliance :

  • Ensure websites comply with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and legal requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to keep websites competitive and compliant.
  • Collaboration and Project Management :

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, development, and design, to execute ecommerce initiatives.
  • Use project management tools like Jira to track tasks, manage deadlines, and ensure timely project delivery.
  • Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in ecommerce operations management, including product catalog management and process optimization.
  • Hands-on experience or willingness to learn Amazon A+ Content, Syndigo Enhanced Content, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with ecommerce platforms, including Shopify, and basic front-end customization using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with tracking pixels, customer events, and API processes.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce metrics, web accessibility standards, and SEO best practices.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools like Google Analytics for monitoring and reporting website performance.
  • Experience with project management tools like Jira or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of Shopify Liquid and Schema is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with integration with Reviews Management, Email and SMS Marketing Platforms, and Affiliate Marketing Platforms is a strong advantage.
