Reporting to the Supervisor of Lift Stations, you are responsible for the operations and maintenance of sanitary and storm lift stations, force mains, air valve maintenance and odor control sites in multiple locations throughout the city. In this position, you are required to work under a minimal amount of supervision where judgment must be exercised in making decisions and generating new solutions and strategies to solve operational and maintenance issues. Note : This position is required to rotate standby / on-call duties to respond to alarms, ELS deployment and emergencies.
Working Conditions : This position may be exposed to odours, extreme temperatures, loud noises, dampness, untreated wastewater, and fumes. A portion of work is performed in an office environment.
