Enforcement Officer (Part-time / Permanent)

Job Description
The Enforcement Officer ensures that all parking rules are followed without exception. The Parking Enforcement Officer must ensure we consistently meet the client’s expectations by providing excellent customer service. They are also the ambassador for the company as well as the venue. Must complete monthly audits and report back any issues found on the site when patrolling.
Schedule
- One hour of enforcement three days a week at the Brockville Via Rail train station. Flexible on when that hour is performed.
- 3 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Patrol an assigned area by personal vehicleIssue warnings and quotes for illegally parked vehicles (using LPR vehicle system)Identify vehicles in violation of parking codesMake arrangements for illegally parked or abandoned vehicles to be towed, and direct tow-truck drivers to the correct vehiclesObserve and report hazardous conditions such as replacement of unsafe signage within lot, etc.Prepare and maintain required records, records of parking enforcement, operational records and records of quoted quotationsMaintain assigned equipment and supplies such as hand-held computers, quote book, etc.Provide information to the public regarding parking regulations and facilitiesInform the public about policies, services or proceduresIdentify stolen, and counterfeit parking permitsDuties as assigned by managerQualifications
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skillsCautious and courteous driver, with a valid full provincial drivers license and a clean driving recordConfidence in problem solving and ability to manage stressful situationsAbility to clearly and accurately communicate both written and verballyAbility to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environmentBasic knowledge of handheld computer, personal computer (Windows XP / Mobile) and mobile phone featuresAssets
