Reporting to the Vice President - People, Culture & Community, the Global HRIS Implementation & Systems Manager will lead the successful deployment and ongoing management of the HRIS across IREN. Initially, this role will focus on the end-to-end implementation, working with IT for system integrations, defining HR processes, and supporting change management. After implementation, this role will maintain HRIS workflows and ensure effective usage across all HR functions, driving employee and manager engagement through system optimization.

Responsibilities :

  • Project Management : Lead the HRIS implementation project, developing timelines, managing budgets, and ensuring on-time delivery. Coordinate with internal teams (IT, HR, Finance & Operations) to align the system with business needs.
  • System Integrations : Collaborate with IT for the integration of HiBob with existing systems such as payroll, benefits, and other HR tools. Including scope for any in-house developed integration solutions.
  • Governance & Compliance : Ensuring the HRIS meets Company compliance requirements and support preparation of external & internal audit processes.
  • HR Process Definition : Work closely with the People & Culture team to define and standardize people processes, ensuring they are fully integrated within the HRIS.
  • Change Management : Drive change management efforts by creating communication strategies, training programs, and stakeholder engagement initiatives to ensure smooth system adoption across the organization.
  • Data Migration & Configuration : Oversee the migration of existing employee and HR data into HiBob, ensuring data accuracy and system configuration to meet company requirements.
  • Testing & Roll-out : Coordinate system testing, troubleshooting, and user training. Develop risk assessments and contingency plans for system roll-out.
  • Post-Implementation Management : Maintain the HRIS, ensuring the system is used effectively across all HRIS modules, including onboarding, engagement, learning, recruitment, talent management, and compensation processes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders across P&C, IT, and external vendors to ensure the HRIS meets business requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement : Monitor and optimize system performance, making adjustments to workflows and configurations as needed, including all system integrations, for example, payroll, finance, pensions, benefits, etc. Stay up to date with HiBob system upgrades and enhancements, implementing new features to drive employee engagement and retention.

Desired Skills include :

  • Strong project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams and managing timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a team player who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical initiatives with a focus on developing operational capacity.
  • Sophisticated Excel skills (data validation, management information reports, analytics, data cleansing and ongoing data integrity).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, able to influence and drive collaboration across departments and global geographies.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail with capabilities to focus on delivering on objectives to meet business requirements.
  • Desired Qualificatioms include :

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing HRIS implementations, with specific expertise in HiBob (or similar HRIS platforms).
  • HR certifications (e.g., CPHR, SHRM, PMP) are a plus.
  • Familiarity with system integration methodologies and working with IT teams on data migration and configuration.
  • Experience in a fast-paced growth environment.
  • Experience with problem solving in complex projects that have a company-wide impact
  • Experience in developing and driving change management programs.
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours to support the company.
  • The IREN Package :

  • Salary range : Starting CAD$120,000, depending on experience
