In this role, you will own and execute social media strategy and day-to-day execution for a global developer-focused brand operating at the intersection of software, AI, and emerging technology. You will translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging, and platform-native content across X, , YouTube Community, and Reddit—meeting developers where they already are. Working closely with content, product, engineering, and community stakeholders, you’ll help shape how developers discover, understand, and engage with new tools, platforms, and innovations.
At its core, this role is about understanding technical audiences, respecting developer culture, and showing up with credibility, speed, and clarity. You’ll balance planned editorial moments with real-time engagement, experimentation, and community dialogue—helping a global technology brand participate meaningfully in developer conversations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own day-to-day social execution for developer-focused channels across X, , YouTube Community, and Reddit.
- Translate technical, product, and engineering concepts into accessible, social-first content that resonates with developer audiences.
- Manage editorial calendars, publishing workflows, and approvals in partnership with Content Leads and Social Coordinators.
- Actively engage with developer communities through comments, replies, DMs, and relevant conversations, maintaining an authentic and credible brand voice.
- Monitor trends across developer ecosystems, open-source communities, AI / Edge conversations, and emerging platforms to inform content opportunities.
- Support experimentation around new formats, content types, and AI / Edge storytelling approaches.
- Collaborate with content producers and creators to brief, shape, and refine social-first assets.
- Partner with analytics and content teams to review performance, extract insights, and continuously optimize content strategy.
- Escalate sentiment, feedback, or potential risks in collaboration with leads and stakeholders.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand, legal, and platform guidelines.
