Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and licensed electrician to join our team and maintain the electrical systems at the Federico Degetau Federal Building. In this critical role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the facilities' electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Respond to assignments from the O&M Supervisor (OMS) to address maintenance, repair, and inspection needs of the electrical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) tasks on electrical equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct special services such as troubleshooting electrical issues, diagnosing equipment malfunctions, and performing corrective actions.
• Operate and adjust electrical switches as needed to maintain power distribution throughout the facilities.
• Perform all required electrical testing in accordance with applicable codes and certification processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all electrical work performed.
• Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the OMS and other facilities staff to ensure seamless coordination of electrical maintenance activities.
