Job Title :   Quality Assurance Automation Developer

Contract Duration : 12 Months

Location :  Edmonton, AB

Work Type : Hybrid ,  Monday through Friday, 8 : 15 to 4 : 30

About the Role :

We are seeking a talented Quality Assurance Automation Developer to join our team and help us build innovative digital solutions. As a QA Automation Developer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Test Planning and Execution : Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
  • Automation Framework : Design and implement robust automation frameworks using industry-standard tools.
  • Test Automation : Create and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
  • Quality Assurance : Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve defects.
  • Continuous Improvement : Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
  • Collaboration : Collaborate effectively with development teams, product owners, and other stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience :

  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
  • Experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG)
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#)
  • Knowledge of SQL and database testing
  • Experience with testing tools (e.g., JIRA, Jenkins, TestRail)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Desired Skills :

  • Experience with API testing
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)
  • Experience with security testing tools (e.g., Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP)
