Description

Located out of our Calgary office, the individual in the Student, NGL Supply Chain Management role will report to the Supervisor, NGL Supply Chain Management. The successful candidate will support Inter Pipeline's NGL SCM department.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

  • Materials management optimization which will include regular hands-on work in the warehouse at our Cochrane Extraction Plant
  • Automatic PO set-up
  • SCM analytics
  • Automation of SCM processes
  • Assist with SCM manual development
  • Assist with contracts administration activities such as updating contract information in SAP Sourcing or SAP Business Network
  • Perform invoice resolution activities
  • Attend meetings and capture relevant decisions and action items
  • Support in other supply chain related activities as required

Education, Skills and Experience

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or related
  • Genuine interest and passion for the field of materials management
  • Prior work experience obtained through an internship, coop, or summer job will be considered an asset
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft suite of applications including but not limited to Excel, Power BI, and Power Automate)
  • Experience with SAP, SAP Sourcing, and / or SAP Business Network will be considered an asset
  • Ability to accurately analyze information and be adaptable to changing priorities
  • Positive attitude and willing to take initiative
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, highly motivated with ability to effectively manage time
  • Team player with the ability to work well independently
  • Ability to maintain excellent attendance
  • Ability to work part-time prior to and after summer term (approximately January-April and September-December)
  • Ability to work full-time during the summer term (approximately May-August)
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Must have a valid class 5 driver’s license and a vehicle for travel to Cochrane Extraction Plant
  • Must pass pre-employment background check

    Hours

    Monday - Friday, on-site, 40 hours a week

    part-time prior to and after summer term (approximately January-April and September-December)

    4-month term (May 2025 - August 2025)

    As this position is identified as security sensitive, employment of a final candidate will be conditional upon completion of a criminal background check assessment with satisfactory results.
