Jardeg is recruiting B-Pressure Rig Welders for various project sites in the Province of Alberta. This is an expression of interest for future opportunities within the Maintenance and Turnaround group.

Opportunities may include fly-in / fly-out, drive-in / drive-out and local roles, which depending on the scope of work may provide camp accommodations, LOA or other travel incentives. We often recruit for both long term and short term positions, which allows more flexibility for you.

As a B-Pressure Rig Welder your key responsibilities include but is not limited to :

Use welding processes such as SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, or GTAW to weld pressure piping

Weld up to 30 inches (FDI) per day when material is available

Some welds may be customized while others may consist of repetitive procedures

Qualifications :

Journeyperson Welding Certification.

Grade B-Pressure Welding Cerification

Proven experience as a Journeyperson B-Pressure Welder, preferably in a heavy industrial or construction settings.

Comprehensive knowledge of materials, tools, and different welding techniques used as a B-Pressure Welder.

Strong commitment to safety practices and protocols.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and independently as required.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and project stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements :

Common Safety Orientation (CSO) or CSTS-09

Energy Safety Canada Certified Confined Space Entry & Monitor

Energy Safety Canada Certified Fall Arrest and / or Fall Protection

Basic Rigging Certification

Must be an Incorporated Contractor with access to a welding rig, valid WCB, liability Insurance

Must be able to provide welding machine calibrations done within the last year

Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
