This is a seasonal, P / T position (May-October)Job functions include, but are not limited to the following : Processing sales through a POSConducting tutored wine tastings with customersActing as a brand ambassador and building relationships with customersUsing active sales techniquesFood service on the patioParticipation in occasional offsite or evening eventsOther duties as assignedJob Requirements : Smart Serve Certified or willing to obtain certificationFood Handler Certified or willing to obtain certificationavailable to work weekendsexperience with, or willing to learn active sales techniquesknowledge of wine and / or willing to learn about wine production and tasting profiles (scripts will be provided)outgoing and personableHighly responsible and reliableAbility to work well in a busy, fast paced retail environment
