Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Power BI Developer to join our team in Toronto. This role involves leveraging Power BI to deliver data-driven insights, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the seamless migration and integration of data across multiple channels.

Responsibilities :

  • Power BI Development :
  • Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports to meet business requirements.
  • Build scalable and interactive visualizations to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Data Migration and Integration :
  • Execute the migration of data from legacy systems to new environments while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Collaborate with middleware teams to manage and optimize data pipelines.
  • Multi-Channel Data Expertise :
  • Work with data from diverse channels, ensuring seamless integration and analysis.
  • Identify opportunities for unifying data across platforms to provide comprehensive insights.
  • Collaboration and Coordination :
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, middleware teams, and technical experts to gather and translate requirements into actionable solutions.
  • Ensure effective communication of project progress, challenges, and deliverables.
  • Performance Optimization :
  • Implement best practices for data modelling, DAX calculations, and report performance tuning.

Requirements / Qualifications :

Experience : 3-4 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development and data analytics.

  • Technical Skills :
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
  • Experience with data migration, transformation, and cleansing.
  • Familiarity with middleware technologies and data pipelines.
  • Data Expertise : Understanding of multi-channel data sources and integration techniques.
  • Soft Skills : Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities effectively.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
  • Previous experience working in a hybrid model and collaborating with remote teams.

    • This role follows a hybrid model based in Toronto , requiring candidates to be available for both in-office and remote work as needed.
