Based in Etobicoke, Ontario, Viva Media, Studios & Camera encompasses three distinct but interconnected brands under one creative umbrella :

  • Viva Media : Our full-service production company specializes in creating high-quality film and commercial content for clients across various industries. From concept to final delivery, our team brings creative visions to life through compelling storytelling and technical excellence.
  • Viva Studios : Located at 777 Queensway, our premium studio rental space offers versatile environments for productions of all sizes. With professional lighting setups, customizable backdrops, and state-of-the-art facilities, we provide the perfect setting for everything from commercial shoots to creative projects.
  • Viva Camera : Our comprehensive equipment rental service gives filmmakers, photographers, and content creators access to professional-grade gear. We offer a wide range of cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and accessories to support productions of any scale.

Position Overview

This role requires a creative storyteller who can develop engaging content for multiple platforms while maintaining each brand's distinct voice. Your portfolio and demonstrated results matter more than your formal credentials.

Salary Range : $50,000 - $70,000 CAD annually, based on experience and portfolio strength.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement content strategies specific to each of our three brands
  • Create original photo and video content that engages our target audiences
  • Focus on Instagram and Facebook as primary platforms
  • Create short-form, often vertical content including reels, short edited videos, images, story posts, and carousels
  • For Viva Media : Capture behind-the-scenes content on production sets
  • For Viva Studios : Showcase client productions in our studio space
  • For Viva Camera : Create educational content featuring our equipment inventory
  • Manage posting schedules and optimize content for different platforms
  • Track performance metrics and continuously improve content effectiveness
  • Stay current with social media trends and implement relevant best practices
  • Work both independently and collaboratively with our production team

    • Qualifications We Value

  • Strong portfolio showcasing previous social media campaigns and content creation
  • Proven experience growing business social accounts with measurable results
  • Excellent videography, photography, and video editing skills
  • Knowledge of film / commercial production, camera equipment, and studio operations
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop)
  • Ability to adapt voice and style to different brand identities
  • Experience creating both educational and promotional content
  • Strong storytelling abilities and understanding of current platform best practices
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently while collaborating with a team

  • Hybrid role : On-set during productions, at our studio (777 Queensway, Etobicoke), and remote work for editing days
