Position Summary :
Microserve is looking for an experienced People & Culture (P&C) Business Partner (BP) to join our amazing People & Culture (P&C) Team. The People & Culture (P&C) Business Partner (BP) plays a pivotal role in shaping a thriving workplace culture, fostering employee engagement, and driving impactful people initiatives for the business areas they support. A strategic thinker with a practical, hands-on approach, the P&C BP builds trusted relationships with leaders and employees alike, enabling them to anticipate and address people needs that align with functional success.
Reporting directly into the Vice President of People & Culture (VP of P&C) the P&C BP will primarily be responsible for leading and implementing various HR projects that align with the organization’s strategic goals. This role involves close collaboration with senior leadership and various departments to ensure that HR initiatives are effectively executed and contribute to the overall success of the company.
The P&C BP will help to align the organization’s people and business strategies. They are not only a people champion and a human resources administrative expert but also a strategic partner and change agent for the business. The P&C BP formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees. The P&C BP will own the coordination and implementation of HR processes, policies and programs regarding recruitment, retention, organization development, talent development, employee engagement, on-boarding, succession planning, leadership development, compensation and benefits.

Key Responsibilities :
Project Management :
- Lead and manage HR projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Driving the execution of HR-related projects and programs.
- Ensuring that HR projects are delivered on time, within the scope and budget.
- Tracking, monitoring, and reporting on HR program and project progress to ensure successful execution.
- Manage stakeholder relationships to ensure project delivery expectations are specified and successfully met.
- Monitor and report on project status highlighting issues and risks appropriately. And, as necessary, coordinate the development, discussion, and approval of corrective action and / or contingency plans.
Strategic Partnership :
Partner with business leaders to understand their goals and align P&C strategies to drive success.Act as a trusted advisor, delivering insights and solutions that enhance people performance and business outcomes.Anticipate workforce needs and develop proactive strategies to address talent and organizational challenges.Partnering with our leaders across the business and overseeing the creation and implementation of our people strategy in alignment with our long-term business strategyParticipate in the development and implementation of various HR initiatives, programs, and policies to ensure successful alignment with business strategy.Building and implementing a sound P&C operations framework to enable the smooth execution of our people initiatives and partnership with the businessCulture & Employee Engagement :
In partnership with the P&C Program Manager, help create and execute programs that enhance culture, employee engagement, and motivation.Champion diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging efforts to create a supportive environment for all employees.Organize and support culture activities and events to strengthen collaboration and cross-functional relationships.Support the People & Culture Program Manager in implementing programs that increase employee engagement and retention which are aligned with Microserve’s culture and values.Talent Management :
Support employee development and retention through personalized career growth programs and structured succession planning.Collaborate with leaders to proactively identify and address talent gaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Support the VP of P&C on developing strategies that grow talent within the organization, including succession planning and career development initiatives.Support the VP of P&C on leadership development initiativesProviding strategic guidance on organizational design and structure across the business, partnering with the executive leadership team to design high-performing teams that will meet our evolving business needsChange Management : Drive change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.
Compliance : Support our P&C Operations team to ensure that HR policies and practices comply with all relevant laws and regulations
Data Analysis : Utilize HR metrics and data to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and make data-driven decisions.Operating as a key member of the P&C leadership team to drive cross-functional P&C initiatives
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is considered an asset.Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on project management.Proven track record of successfully managing HR projects.Understanding of, and experience with, core aspects of Human Resource Management (employee relations; performance management; leadership development; training)Previous talent management and succession planning experience preferredProven ability to influence decision making; courage to make tough decisions and deliver difficult messages with professional and poise.Must possess consultative style and approach with proven ability to develop credible relationshipsStrong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively and influence senior leadership.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Skills and Competencies :

Please note, while the pay range of the role is listed here, this position’s salary is non-negotiable based on geographical market. Your exact salary is determined based on a combination of your relevant experience, skill, competencies, and internal pay equity.
