Job descriptionGrinder Shredder Vibrating table Hydraulic system Press Diagnose mechanical issues breakdowns and failures. Inspect for wear repair or replace defective parts components or systems. Test repaired equipment to verify performance and ensure compliance. Assist in troubleshooting to improve equipment efficiency and functionality. Carry out installation and upgrades of new machines or equipment. Complete work orders and follow up as necessary. Ensure proper use and operation of company equipment. Inform the immediate supervisor of any required actions detected issues or time overruns. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Work safely and in compliance with health & safety (SST) policies and company procedures. Perform any other related tasks Strong experience in maintenance repair and adjustment of mechanical equipment such as conveyors grinders shredders vibrating tables hydraulic systems and presses. Ability to diagnose mechanical issues breakdowns and failures and perform necessary repairs or replacements. Skilled in testing repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance with standards. Ability to collaborate on problem-solving to improve equipment efficiency and functionality. Knowledge of safety protocols including workplace cleanliness compliance with health & safety (SST) regulations and safe work practices.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our night shift team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining repairing and troubleshooting industrial equipment used in the processing and movement of metal materials.
