What you'll do

  • This is a 12-Month Fixed Term Contract

The primary purpose of the position will be to efficiently provide accurate, complete & timely billing services for our customers and the acquisition and processing of data.

The day-to-day

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of order details into billing system using various analysis tools
  • Execute one-off tasks in Singleview i.e CX uploads, CDR generation
  • Accurate and timely data entry for billing workflow
  • Train new staff members on billing task workflow
  • Complete tasks within assigned targets / service levels
  • Assist with quality assurance and production bill run activities
  • Ability to execute and fully analyse quality and production bill run activities
  • Ensure required quality standards are met by operating effective controls procedures
  • Substantial understanding of billing system and associated reference data
  • Investigate, resolve and respond L2 queries
  • Proactively recommend changes in billing processes and procedures to optimize efficiency
  • Assist with the resolution of unbilled items
  • Maintain up to date procedure documentation
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as required

    • What you'll need

  • 5+ years of experience in handling billing processes, systems and tools for standard billing activities
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, a related field or equivalent years of experience
  • Proven attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written English communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage repetitive monthly tasks to high standards
  • Demonstrated time management skills - ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid understanding of computers and technology - specifically MS Office
  • Ability to work with others as part of a team
  • Ability to come into the office 1 day per week

    • What will help you on the job

  • Experience in a similar role in a mobile / telecommunications operator
  • Knowledge of the Singleview billing system
  • Experience with SAP
  • Knowledge of SQL, preferably in an Oracle environment
  • Formal process improvement (such as Six Sigma) training and certification
