Hourly Rate : $18.82 ($19.53 / hr if you are Instructing)

Seasonal (December-March)

Full Time (4-5 shifts a week) or Part Time (2-3 Shifts a week)

As a Lifeguard, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring guests have a safe and enjoyable time at the pool. Along with providing excellent customer service, you'll create a welcoming and secure atmosphere where everyone can relax and have fun.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

• Act appropriately in emergency procedures (as trained);
• Make recommendations to Supervisor on any related issues that will enhance guest experience;
• Maintain a clean facility at all times including performing cleaning duties of entrance ways, lobby, multi-purpose and first aid rooms, pool, deck and change rooms;
• Ensure pool decks, chairs, hot tub areas and equipment are cleaned and well organized;
• Follow up on guest requests, questions and concerns in a prompt and attentive manner;
• Enforce pool rules, ex. smoking, drinking, and reserving chairs etc.;
• Document any damage or maintenance deficiencies and missing inventory items;
• Interact with guests and homeowners to provide accurate resort information.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• NL Certification required
• First Aid with CPR 'C' required
• Recertification of awards to remain current will be required
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Must be 15 years or older as per Ontario Legislation
