Pricing Analyst

Would you like to launch your career with one of the most successful logistics organizations worldwide? Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Mississauga office is looking for a new Pricing Analyst to join our Contract Logistics team.

Your Role

You will be responsible for managing Client and Carrier rates in the TMS. and also will work to maintain data integrity and accuracy of carrier agreements, and client rates. You will also support RFP responses, route planning / optimization, distribution of data analytics and KPI reporting.

Your Responsibilities

  • Data Management of carrier and client rates, and tariff validity within TMS
  • Participate in technical testing and validation within the TMS
  • Root cause analysis on zero rated shipments and weekly Fuel Surcharge Updates
  • Transmit Monthly Client specific Fuel Surcharge updates
  • Provide daily Transportation activity dashboards and reports relative to plan.
  • Prepare Holiday Plans according to customer / carrier schedule and support Route code allocation
  • Review carrier lead times
  • Support monthly KPI reporting and development.
  • Support summary of customer / carrier delivery performance, frequency and expense reporting
  • Participate and assist in all Transportation related projects
  • Prepare and maintain working instructions for client and or carrier operational & administration requirements

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Degree / Diploma in International Business, Trade, Logistics is preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in transportation logistics / Freight forwarding industry
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel, Spreadsheet)
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
