The Role : Production Planning Administrator
The Production Planning Administrator is an integral component of the transfer of orders from engineering to production through the review, development, and implementation of detailed bills of manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain the master production schedule and all supporting schedulesSupport the Team Lead and Manufacturing Parts Planner as neededWork with Team Lead to develop plans for the efficient manufacturing of productsCoordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain departments to ensure schedule alignmentGenerate work orders, print travellers, and prepare production packages in a timely mannerMaintain required spreadsheets for safety and training matricesCollect, scan and file daily crew talks from productionLiaison between production and engineering departments for required ECN updatesKeep production queues up to date using software such as SmartViews, Visual ERP and internal platformsUpdate KPI and on-time delivery reportsMonitor workflow and communicate order delays through SalesforceRespond to sales team requests in Salesforce and through emailUpdate work order “want dates” as requiredWhat You Bring
High school education or GED equivalentExperience in Manufacturing considered an assetPrevious experience using ERP systems considered an assetStrong interpersonal skills such as verbal and written communication and listening with a proven ability to communicate technical information effectivelyExceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilitiesSolid computer skills and the ability to pick up new software quicklyAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprintsCapability to develop a high level of product knowledge and understanding inventory and shop practicesA strong sense of urgency with proven dependability and initiativeThank you for considering a career with AdvanTec Marine .
